Smriti Jha, Joined March 2020

My name is Smriti Jha and I am a sophomore at Washington High School. In the future, I would like to pursue a career in medicine/ healthcare field. Some of my hobbies include baking, singing, and playing sports. I strive to help make a difference in our community as well as assist less fortunate youth who do not have the same opportunities & resources than most. My first project with SFS, I helped homeless and trafficked youth at the Covenant house in Oakland, CA by donating 120 female hygiene kits (with soap, pads, underwear, and more). I’m excited to continue pursuing my interests alongside SFS while making a positive impact on my community!

I’m Brian, a junior in California. My hobbies include art and anything science-related! Specifically, I aspire to find a future profession in the medical field. I love searching for new opportunities both to better myself and to make a change in my community! By working with Schools for Success, I am empowered to make a change in my local and international communities, where access to items that seem common to us are, in fact, absent due to cost or societal restraints. I am interested in anything related to lab science, which is one reason why I partnered with Schools for Success to achieve our international medical campaign.

I also love going out and spending time with friends, and going to school events. I worked with Schools for Success from 2018-2019. To earn money, I tutored and did some door-to-door fundraising.
